Policies & Etiquette

As a guest of Studio X Vertical Fitness, we kindly ask you to respect our studio etiquette:

Studio Policies:

  • Street shoes are not allowed into the studio. Shoes worn must be specifically for inside only.

  • All students must sign a waiver prior to participating.

  • No one under the age of 18 is permitted into the studio to use the poles. Anyone under the age of 18 who accompanies you must remain in the waiting room.

  • Services must be paid in full before leaving the studio.

  • Students who appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave immediately. It's too dangerous for you to participate.

  • You may arrive to your class or party up to 5 - 10 minutes early but please be aware that another class may still be in session or the instructor may not be ready/have everything set up yet. Classes and parties that are already in session cannot be interrupted.

  • We will gladly share the use of our yoga mats with you during class, but ask that you spray your mat after use in order to ensure cleanliness for your future use and fellow classmates.

  • Please do not wear any lotion or oils the day of class. Moisturizer makes the equipment very slippery and builds up a residue that makes it dangerous for you and your fellow students. This also applies to the floor. Oily feet make the floor slippery.

  • Please do not touch the  mirrors or stand on the waiting room furniture.

  • Our poles have a weight limit of 225 pounds, set by the manufacturer. For safety reasons, we ask that you please do not perform any moves that put your weight on the equipment if you are over this weight limit.

  • Photos and videos are encouraged; however  you will need to wait until the end of instructional time. Also, please consider the privacy of your fellow classmates before including them in photos or videos.

Attire:

  • Pole classes: wear shorts and a short sleeve or tank top. You will need skin to stick to the pole. We do not allow thongs to be worn.

  • Lyra classes: wear leggings.

  • Please do not wear rings, bracelets, watches, fitbits, lotions or oils on your hands, body, or feet the day of class. We do have one restroom available to change in.No jewelry (except post earrings) is allowed to be worn during class. Please remove yours before coming to the studio. We will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Class Policies:

  • All participants must sign a waiver.

  • Reservations are required using our MindBody App

  • Water is the only beverage allowed into the studio. Food is not allowed in the studio.

  • When first attempting an inversion or climbing, an instructor must spot you.

  • Crash mats are required for all inversions.

  • You must have an instructor, not another student, show you moves. Our class instructors teach proper and safe techniques. Please respect that our instructors are trained professionals  and it is important for everyone’s safety that students do not instruct other students.

Late Policy:

  • If you miss the warm up, which is usually the first ten to fifteen minutes of class, you will not be allowed to participate and your class will be forfeited. Inadequate stretching can lead to injuries.

How the Waitlist Works:

  • When a class is fully booked, you have the option to join the waitlist. When you join the wait list, you will automatically be added to the class if someone cancels their reservation. Being on the waitlist means that you fully plan to attend the class if you get added. Students are added to classes (from the waitlist) up to 1 hour before each class begins. If you get added to the class and can no longer attend or don't show up, it is considered a late cancel and your class will be forfeited.

Cancellation Policy:

  • If you need to reschedule or cancel a class, please do so at least 12 hours before the class begins. Your class will be forfeited if canceled or rescheduled less than 12 hours. You can cancel classes online using Mindbody. We are unable to provide special exceptions to our 12 hour cancellation policy. Workshops, specialty classes, and events: cancellations will not be credited to your account. We understand things come up that are out of your control, but we have to follow this policy in order to continue to offer classes. All sales are nonrefundable and non-transferrable.
